Powderface Cafe

To bring attention to the cafe’s signature pastry, the beignet, we designed a glass, steel, and wood screen that frames the creation of this powdered sugar–coated treat, drawing customer’s eyes into the kitchen. A neutral material palette intermingles with rich wood and steel, creating a sense of ease in the areas where customers engage with the architecture. The resulting space is warm and inviting and highlights the main attraction: sweet, fried dough.
